I put a 'shuffle' logo as my main pic at gtalk...

and guess what...

my roomate was shocked with it and asked me since when I got interested in such things called shuffle..

Actually I'm just planning to learn some...
If the interest grow more and more, then maybe I should just call myself a shuffler... ahaha

but now... need to find some shuffle videos to learn from...
or maybe any experienced shuffler that can teach me how to shuffle... =)

Life is broken down into series of moments, each branded into memories, and the moments of the ending of last sem's semester break are etched in horror, which will forever sealed in the darkest reach of my memories...

I thought the sem break will end like usual where I come back to UTP without any feeling of guilt or despair.. but last sem's break.....

HUH!! [sigh] chain of bad things happened to me...
it all started from the day the results was out, or maybe the day that I found out that the result is already been announced [not sure] ... July 10th 2009...

When I first look at the result.. my first reaction is to save the file and RENAME it with a new name, 'Kemusnahanyghakiki'... It was a DISASTER!

and I'm not planning to tell that kind of result that I got to my parents... yea~ feeling guilty, afraid etc... So, I made my decision to hold it for a day.. I'm thinking to tell them about it the day after tomorrow... hopefully I will get into position mentally...

thats the start of everything bad happening to me last break...

When I finally ready for it, I was in my mom's house at Klang already... Flight on July 12th, Sunday at 10 am... I called my parents back in Sabah and tell them about my result at about 15 minutes pass 10 at night...

and the reaction? Bad... they restrained me from joining any activities this coming semester.. they ask me to concentrate only on my studies...

'If you know that you can't juggle many things at once, why do so? If you can comprehend with those things, its ok... but now, look at your result~ But nevermind, there's always next time, you can always try your best in the upcoming sem, even the smartest man in the world sometime make mistakes, and they do failed in some of their attempts... But Man, dont involved yourself with any activities [events] for a while... ok?' said my mom on the phone..

'Ok mom...' I replied... then I talked with my Dad for a while.. and the same advice comes from him...

I guess I need to be a 'bookworm' this sem? 'NO' definitely not.. I'm planning to venture myself into other things... Music, fashions etc that I've interested in... Planning to learn how to Shuffle! ahaha... and make up for a new image of me... We'll see bout that... in the nearest future..

Then... the chain of bad things doesnt stop there... On my flight to LCCT from Sandakan, I met with this old lady who's sitting beside me.. We have a nice short chit chat for a while before the plane take off, when she started to shut her eyes and ready for a 2 hours sleep... I think she cant withstand the pressure in the cabin... She felt a little dizzy she said...

I admit that I do sympathize her... but deep inside me I'm saving my sympathy for a 2 months old baby who has been crying for hours!! and none of those 'gorgeous' 'good-looking' flight attendants actually come to offer any help to the mother~

I think the baby was shocked, due to the difference in pressure inside the cabin and the outer atmosphere... the ear-piercing crying from the baby bother almost all the guest around them, including me who sit 2 rows behind them...

Something's goes around in my mind...
'Huh! where's the 'Top Notch' customer service that this 'A' airline claims to have?! The flight attendants didnt even make any effort to calm the baby.. or even to help the mother... Forget bout the help, they didnt offer any!! They really dont know how to be a flight attendants! I'm sure that they've gone through the courses being one! and I'm sure that they do teach how to handle this kind of situation, where there's a baby on board! inside their What-to-do and all those How-to-do manual [guidebooks]!!'

So, I sit there patiently at my seat hoping for the baby to stop crying... [and actually 'NO' he didnt! until our arrival at LCCT...] I cant have any sleep at all... so... I grab the magazines in front of me... and started to read it~

Besides bragging about their low cost fares and owning the edge in the low cost aviation industry.. there's nothing much special in it... but I do interested in a article entitled 'Ancillary Income, Explained'... Now I do know why they are able to offer a low price for their fees...

p/s: Not able to enjoy any meal on the flight as well, as Im wearing the protective mask during the entire flight... Im afraid If I can get infected by the deadly virus of H1N1 when I take it off.. so I decide not to open it till I'm at my home at Klang...

My parents at Klang comes to know bout my results... and guess what.. the same advice come from them!! ahaha... no activities for a while except studying... but they do reminds me not to forget to have fun sometimes... All works and no play makes Jack a dull boy, they said... ahaha

I always watch my courtesy when Im speaking to my parents... I'm very particular in choosing words when Im speaking with them.. So, theres not much humours between us that started by me... most of them started by my dad, who has been really a good joker in my house!

Then, I get back to UTP on July 17th, taking a bus from Klang to Lumut...
Wargghhh~ the journey was so long and boring.... And I've been holding 'it' for a while when the bus stops at Slim River... I rushed to the toilet~ and get back to the bus immediately after that.. hoping that the bus will take off in the nearest time.. so that I can arrive earlier to UTP... [I'm worried as if Im drinking too much water- due to the ulcer in my mouth- and need to use the toilet again if I dont get back to UTP immediately]...

Ironically, the bus stops there for HOURS!! [ 1 1/2 hours to be exact]... Until some of the passengers [the tourists] can stand the waiting and switch to other bus...

Monologue..
'Memalukan Malaysia tol la bus driver ne! kang pe lak mat salleh ne tulis kat blog dia pasal Malaysia.... haish'

then, the bus finally continue its journey to Ipoh and then Lumut... on the way, we've been entertained with Ong Bak2... its sure is a a great movie!

Monologue2
'Pandai betol pakcik ne~ Org sume dah bengang2 dia wat tunggu lelama, dia pusing plak benda ne.. nak memujuk la tuh! tadi dari Klang x nak plak pasang...'

p/s: The bus driver is also joining us watching the movie! and I'm damn frustrated by that!!

Monologue3
'Tgok la jalan tuh pakcik woi! kang kemalangan kang... sume susah... haish.. x bertimbang rasa tol la pakcik sorg ne! naseb bek bawak perlahan~ [40km/h] bayangkan betapa slownye bus tuh merangkak merentasi hutan2 di sekeliling lebuh raya tuh! ades'

Hugging is good medicine. It transfers energy, and gives the person hugged an emotional boost. You need four hugs a day for survival, eight for maintenance, and twelve for growth. A hug makes you feel good. The skin is the largest organ we have and it needs a great deal of care. A hug can cover a lot of skin and gives the message that you care. It is also a form of communication. It can say things you don't have words for. The nicest thing about a hug is that you usually can't give one without getting one.

I will not play Tug O' War,
I'd rather play Hug O' War;
Where everyone hugs, instead of tugs,
And everyone giggles and rolls on the rug.
Where everyone kisses,
and everyone grins;
everyone cuddles,
and everyone wins.
~Shel Silverstein

HUGGING It's wondrous what a hug can do.
A hug can cheer you when you're blue
A hug can say, "I love you so,"
Or, "I hate to see you go."
A hug is "Welcome back again."
And "Great to see you! Where 'er you been?"
A hug can soothe a small child's pain
And bring a rainbow after rain.
The hug, there's just no doubt about it --Brown Teddy Bear
We scarcely could survive without it!
A hug delights and warms and charms;
It must be why God gave us arms
Hugs are great for fathers and mothers,
Sweet for sisters, swell for brothers;
And chances are your favorite aunts
love them more than potted plants.
Kittens crave them, puppies love them,
Heads of states are not above them.
A hug can break the language barrier
And make your travel so much merrier.
No need to fret about your store of 'em;
The more you give, the more there are of 'em.
So stretch those arms without delay
And give someone a hug today! - Dean Walley, (the Messenger)

Hugs certainly feel good, both on the giving and receiving end, and it turns out their effects are more than skin deep. A study by University of North Carolina researchers found that hugs increase the "bonding" hormone oxytocin and decrease the risk of heart disease.

Hugs are good for your heart, they lower blood pressure, and reduce stress, so make it a point to hug someone today!

In fact, when couples hugged for 20 seconds, their levels of oxytocin, released during childbirth and breastfeeding, increased. Those in loving relationships had the highest increases.

Meanwhile, levels of the stress hormone cortisol decreased in women, as did their blood pressure. Said lead researcher and psychologist Dr. Karen Grewen, "Greater partner support is linked to higher oxytocin levels for both men and women. However, the importance of oxytocin and its potentially cardioprotective effects may be greater for women."

Hugging for Your Heart

"Scientists are increasingly interested in the possibility that positive emotions can be good for your health. This study has reinforced research findings that support from a partner, in this case a hug from a loved one, can have beneficial effects on heart health," said Dr. Charmaine Griffiths, spokesperson for the British Heart Foundation.

Indeed, a previous study, also led by Grewen, found that hugging and handholding reduces the effects of stress. Two groups of couples were asked to talk about an angry event, but one group had previously held hands and hugged, while the others sat alone. It was found that:

  • Blood pressure increased significantly more among the no-contact group as compared to the huggers.

  • Heart rate among those without contact increased 10 beats a minute, compared to five beats a minute for huggers.

What's more, Grewen suggests that warm contact such as hugs and hand-holding before the start of a rough day "could carry over and protect you throughout the day."

Benefits of Touch Start Early

A hearty hug in the morning may help your loved one ward off stress all day.

Humans are clearly social animals, as evidenced by countless studies showing that those who have friends are healthier, as are people who are married.

We need social contact, and that includes touch, even beyond a couple's capacity. Take, for example, the fact that babies benefit from skin-to-skin contact with their mother with better physical development and positive bonding.

A telling example was a study of Korean infants in an orphanage. Those who received an extra 15 minutes of a female voice, massage and eye-to-eye contact, five days a week for four weeks, gained more weight and had greater increases in body length and head circumferences after the four weeks and at 6 months of age than children without the extra stimulation.

Therapeutic touch has also been shown to reduce stress and pain among adults, and reduces symptoms of Alzheimer's disease, such as restlessness, pacing, vocalization, searching and tapping.

Time to Get, and Give, More Hugs

"U.S. couples aren't very touchy feely in public," says Tiffany Field of the Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami Medical School. This is a shame as touch also releases two feel-good brain chemicals, serotonin and dopamine.

Yet, according to Field's studies of U.S. and Parisian cafes, French couples spend three times more time touching than American couples.

So what are we waiting for? Grab your partner, friend or family member and give them a hug today. And if you're really feeling bold, check out the first link below and treat your significant other to a special treat tonight.

There's something in a simple hug That always warms the heart; It welcomes us back home And makes it easier to part.

A hug's a way to share the joy
And sad times we go through,
Or just a way for friends to say
They like you 'cause you're you.

Hugs are meant for anyone
For whom we really care,
From your grandma to your neighbour,
Or a cuddly teddy bear.

A hug is an amazing thing -
It's just the perfect way
To show the love we're feeling
But can't find the words to say.

It's funny how a little hug
Makes everyone feel good;
In every place and language,
It's always understood.

And hugs don't need new equipment,
Special batteries or parts -
Just open up your arms
And open up your hearts.

"Flight no AK5130 will be arriving soon at gate A.."
I expect that phrase to be announced before our plane's tyres make contact with the rough surface of the flight lane.....

"huh~ there's no one gonna be fetching me??" said me over the phone when I called my mom
"You've grown up already~ ur an adult now~ for sure you can make all your way from the airpot to our home safely right?" replied my mom
"huuhhh~ fine.. I'll go home with a taxi then.. since Pa's working..." said me before I end the call...

-took a taxi to go back and have a quite relaxing and long chit chat with the taxi driver-

"Hurm~ what Should I do at home this long hols~" suddenly that thought came across my mind the moment I entered my house...

"Gonna buy 'this', 'this', 'this' and 'that' etc...."
a lot of things that Im planning to buy with this month scholars... ahahaha ;P

-havent done anything interesting since my arrival at home- except for watching 3 Jdorama and finished them within 4 days... SUGOI!! (^_^)/

p/s: This month electric bills gonna be up skyrocketing~ Gomen2 Ma n Pa~ ;P

p/s: Really wish to do something that I have profound interest in, and something that gonna leave a huge repercussions in my life during this hols~ that keep my adrenaline running to the head!! Hopefully~ (^_^)!

Ohaiyo~

will be going back to Sabah in the next hour~
Quite excited yet Im so tired...

p/s: woke up at 3.30 am just now

Sitting here alone at LCCT (means no one beside me, not that the entire LCCT is empty ;P)
Feel quite boring~ so I decided to write this post~

hurm.. what will I do during the flight...
its gonna take approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes to reach Sandakan Airport..

I'm plannint to 'pretend' reading the Novel that I brought with me, Street Boys,
havent quite actually finish even a single chapter of the story!!
hahaha

yerp 'pretend', hahaha ;P
because I will never actually can focus reading when Im on the plane...
Its quite inconvenient for me... not that it is uncomfortable...
but due to the differs in pressure up high at 30,000 feet above sea level and the 'artificial' pressure that they've created in the cabin so that we can breathe as if we are on the ground.. quite painful for the ears though~ and you will actually feel like fainting~
'I feel like fainted' - quite familiar with the phrase huh? hahaha no offence... ;D

added to the predicament, the noisy sound coming from the plane's engine...
huh~ Boarding on a plane surely is not an easy thing to do...
now I know why my Grandma hesitated to go on a flight even just once... hahaha ;)

If any of you will be boarding in the future,
there's a few advice that I want to share here...

i. If you ever come accross a foreigner waiting in the restroom (to enter the toilet) and you arrived after him... please dont go in any of the available toilet even if you are waiting exactly in front of that particular room.. If you dont wanna be yelled at a sudden in front of the public, then please dont do so...
their culture is much more different than ours... whoever arrive before us should get into the available room before us, wait for your turn!!
p/s: watch this scene in the restroom before I go in to the departure hall... Its quite a scene to watch though~ ahaha.. ;P

ii. If you are the type who dont like to be suffocoated in the 'crowd', wait at the end of the line at the departure gate, you'll surely be able to get on the plane easily ;P
dont bother bout the seat on the plane, it'll surely be enough for everyone!! ;D

iii. Enjoy you flight with reading the flight magazines. this would be the best chancefor you to know more about our country and also the other countries accross the world. they even share some stories or culture about the ethnics in the foreign countries, it'll surely be helpful for those who will be flying overseas... and for those who are not, just assume that it is some new input for adding your knowledge...

hur,.. guess thats all I want to share..
gtg now.. will be boarding on the plane soon...

Jyaa mata ne!

p/s1: having some troubles opening the MARS bar that I bought at the kiosk just now~ T-T haish
p/s2: gtg to buy some donuts! hopefully they have pudding choc~ hahaa ;D
p/s3: the crowd in the departure hall is expanding in numbers!! haish~ T-T

Have you ever met a boy?
That is so adorable and cute
As white as snow, the skin is
As soft as pillow, the body is
His parents gave him the name of an angel
An angel called Michael
Yet we shorten it to ‘L’
As tribute to the hero in the story: Death Note
Chilling out alone everyday
Filling up the silence of the house with his sweet laughter’s
Making the other members of the house
Smile to watch his actions, and
Laugh terribly over some of them
Crying is always his mean of getting attention
When all of us are busy with our chores
It’s either a nod or a shake
That you’ll get from him as an answer
When you asked him question
But yet it doesn’t reflect any of his intention
On either ‘yes’ or ‘no’
‘wawa’ is his language
Neither I nor Sarah would understand it
Nor my mom, my dad, my sister nor my brother
It’s the language of his own
His way of expressing himself
Even though you’re so ‘troublesome’
But that’s what gives us the meaning of satisfaction
At the end of the day
When you finally become a figure of the world
Standing proudly in front of us
No matter what ‘L’,
You’re always welcome to become part of us~
